Ubisoft wants us to keep an eye out for a sneaky Easter Egg in Assassin's Creed IV

Ubisoft has revealed that the upcoming Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag contains a hidden Easter Egg featuring a ‘narrative connection’ to another of the publisher's titles.

Director Ash Ismail wouldn’t go into any further details when quizzed by CVG on the matter, though did indicate fans would be happy with the various secrets dotted throughout ACIV’s vast Caribbean setting.

Ubisoft is no stranger to incorporating Easter Eggs in its games; Far Cry 3 featured nods to Assassin’s Creed III, BioShock, and Portal among others.

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag stars Edward Kenway, the grandfather of ACIII hero Connor, as he teams up with legendary pirate Blackbeard for a seafearing adventure packed with Templar-stabbing, plundering and naval battles.
