Pin ItArticle EditDiscussWant a quick software on the internet that could edit your photos in a few minutes? Pixlr Express is one way to do that. It's similar to Photoshop, in that it lets you edit images and add effects to them, but has a much simpler interface.

Edit Steps

Opening the Site1Open up Pixlr's website. Go to http://pixlr.com/ and select 'Pixlr Express (Efficient).

2When it has finished loading, it should come up with a black screen with options on top and in the middle of the screen. Firstly, insert a link or browse any picture to upload.You can also use to collage tool as listed. The collage tool basically makes a collage of images how ever they cannot be mixed or muddled up but only separated. You can change the spacing between the images (where you can change the color of the spacing border) and the layout (For example: there is 1 image to the right and 3 images to the left). You can also change the roundness of the images and proportions.

Start Editing1When the image has opened up, you can start editing. There is a list of options on top of your picture and on the bottom. Feel free to explore the options, although this article will give an example of editing.By clicking on adjustment, you could see a wide range of simple editing tools that change your picture, not really adding to it.

Here is Adjustment 'Color'.By clicking on color, you can change the hue and saturation of the image. By moving the buttons from side to side you could change the darkness and color of the image.

It changed from blue to red.2Use the 'Effect' button. This is a another section that can change your image but won't add things to it. It changes the design of the image. Try using the vintage mode; this will give the image a browner, older-looking effect.

Another list of options will open up if you choose an effect. Once you're in this list, choose which effect you like most. Experiment to see what looks best.

Kevin Vintage.3Try using 'Overlay'. As suggested in its name, this 'overlays' the image with a pattern. Try different ones. For example, retro poster gives a photo a pronounced stand-out effect.

Retro Poster.Another list of options will come up here. Choose carefully to see if you can see the image. If not, change the transparency.

Burst retro.4Try border next. This feature just adds a border to the image.

Ripped Paper.Select any option once you click on it. Again, you can change the amount you want or the level of transparency.

Atta Border.5Use Stickers. This feature adds a basic picture to the image in which you could change the color. Select a topic.Choose one that suits your purpose. Change the color if you want.

Change the size.6Add some text to it.

Choose the font.Write you words in the empty box.

Change the size and color. Maybe you want to underline it or highlight it?7Try different effects for different results. Try to be as creative as possible!

8When you think you're done, you can save the image by clicking on the top section's 'save' button. Choose a name and select the quality and choose the place. You're done!
