PlayStation 4 and Xbox One pre-orders at Blockbuster have seen an amazing response from consumers, the retail giant has said.
The company’s James Morton commented, “We are absolutely thrilled with the amazing response to our pre-order service for both the PS4 and Xbox One.”
“We’re looking forward to seeing the brand new consoles in our stores along with the latest games to buy or rent. 2013 has been a fantastic year for gaming at Blockbuster and it’s set to only get better following the announcements at E3.”
Sony slapped an official price point on PS4 during its E3 press conference Tuesday evening, confirming its next-generation rig will set you back $399/£349 at launch. By comparison, Microsoft’s Xbox One will retail for $499/£429 when it hits stores this holiday season.
