The PlayStation 4 promises to deliver a wealth of Indie games which are going to give studios and individuals who don’t have mega budgets the chance to show off their design skills and creative talents.

From indie studio Thekla Inc and the brilliant mind of Jonathan Blow. who won awards for his absorbing time manipulation puzzle platformer game, Braid, comes The Witness, a 3D first person puzzle game where players are stranded on an island and attempt to solve various maze puzzles.

The footage of The Witness shows many different unique areas that players can explore to solve puzzles and we can expect 25 hours worth of gameplay with the promise of no repetition. As well as taxing the brain, The Witness will be a sensory experience, combining striking visuals with an absorbing musical score.
