There are a lot of reasons why someone might want to check out a guide like T Dub Sanders'. One might be interested in the underside of the game testing field. Others might just want to know what they can gain from a guide that is written to help people understand their role in the gaming industry. Others still are just pining for that ultimate career working alongside game developers and designers.

Whatever the reason, T Dub Sanders has put together one of the biggest and best game testing guides on the market – one that shows the underpinnings of the career in their raw, real format. There are no false promises of automatic testing or sitting at home and playing the newest games for hundreds of dollars a day.

That stuff is all pretty much a pipe dream and most people know it – yet many guide writers try to tell everyone that they can become the biggest and best new game testers in a field that doesn't really exist every day and too many fall for it. On the other hand, what T Dub has put together is a much more realistic, much more comprehensive look at what game testing is really about – the hard work and dedication that goes into becoming someone in charge of all that code each day.

By showing what it really takes to be a game tester, T Dub opens up an actual, realistic path to getting into the industry. He showcases skills needed to get started as a tester, the classes or college majors that people better be willing to invest in if they want to be a professional in this field and much more to help them figure out not only if the career path is right for them but if they are going to be cut out for it. That means a great deal for someone who may or may not know exactly what a game tester does and how it operates.

For anyone that is thinking about taking the path toward becoming a game tester, one of the first things that needs to be done is to learn more about what the career entails. Those people should pick up T Dub's newest guide and get a real insider's look at the job and how it really works. If you're serious about doing what T Dub shows you, you'll be on the fast track toward game testing in no time flat.

E3 2013 Awards: Best Trailer

You are here: Home » Features » Electronic Entertainment Expo [E3... » Final Fantasy XV » E3 2013 Awards: Best Traile...

Posted June 14th, 2013 at 05:56 EDT by Mike Harradence1 Comments

E3 2013 presented some of the most dazzling trailers we’ve clapped eyes on in recent years, though if there’s one game that prompted not only rapturous applause from attendees but depicted some truly jaw-dropping footage too, it was Final Fantasy XV.

Yep, the game formally known as Final Fantasy Versus XIII finally reared its head with a new name and a noticeably more action-oriented focus in terms of general gameplay. Developed by Square Enix’s 1st Production Department, FFXV is being directed by series legend Tetsuya Nomura and shifts the series into action-RPG territory, featuring fast-paced realtime combat and flashy acrobatics.

The game will now be released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One – and from the trailer, it’s abundantly clear that this is a next-generation Final Fantasy title. Featuring silky-smooth gameplay, stunning visuals and adrenaline-pumping combat, FFXV’s debut trailer is the very personification of eye candy.

Square Enix set tongues wagging yesterday evening after officially unveiling Kingdom Hearts III for Sony’s upcoming PlayStation 4 console.

While still in the early stages of development, the company was able to offer a brief glimpse at the upcoming Disney-inspired RPG via a teaser trailer, which we’ve included below.

As previously confirmed, Square is also prepping a high-definition remake of the original Kingdom Hearts, Chain of Memories plus cinematic scenes from Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, so those of you who haven’t yet delved into this majestic game world would do well to check it out.

Kingdom Hearts III has yet to attract a release date, though we imagine it’ll be a while before it shows up.

Watch Dogs trailer leaks ahead of E3

Watch Dogs is what many are seeing as Ubisoft's next great I.P. and it's very likely the Montreal based studio would have wanted to keep this rather flashy trailer under wraps. Too late, here it is for your viewing pleasure.

WD-E3-CGI-Trailer-UPlay-EXP 480 from Aiden Pearce on Vimeo.

Ubisoft is pushing the boundaries on this trailer and setts the mood up perfectly for what is shaping up to be one of this year's finest titles.

The clip goes as far out to show our main protagonist, Aiden Pearce pulling off a black-out city wide stunt to escape the cops.

Watch Dogs is due for release on November 22, 2013.

Konami has released the official E3 trailer for upcoming blood-sucking sequel Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2.

The trailer gives us confirmation that Lords of Shadow 2 will be with us ‘this winter,’ which doesn’t necessarily mean it’ll be released this year – it could mean early 2014, after all. The game will be released for PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360.

Check out the trailer below.

Ahead of E3, Namco Bandai has release a trailer for the first Tales of Xillia game, which is at last releasing in North America on August 6 and Europe on August 9.

Filled with slick fight scenes and a swelling orchestral score, the trailer gives you a taste of the grand story the cel-shaded Japanese role-playing game will be telling on the PlayStation 3. Anime studio ufotable worked on the beautiful anime cutscenes featured in the video.

PlayStation is definitely the choice platform for "Tales of" fans nowadays, as they have the Tales of Symphonia HD collection headed to PS3 as well. Check back to PSU for the latest on the Tales of franchise and more.

Dying Light has received a debut CG trailer courtesy of publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.

Check it out below.

Developed by Techland, Dying Light is scheduled for release on current and next-generation consoles, and takes the form of a sandbox-style survival horror title with a prominent day-night cycle.

Players must explore a vast urban environment during daylight hours while scavenging for supplies and cobbling together weapons to fight off the zombie-like victims of a vicious outbreak. When night falls however, these infected individuals become far more aggressive, forcing gamers into a struggle to survive until sunlight.

Dying Light is due out in 2014 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PC, Xbox One and Xbox 360.

Are you excited for Dying Light? Do you think it could potentially inject new life into the Survival Horror genre? Sound off in the comments section below.
