There are a lot of reasons why someone might want to check out a guide like T Dub Sanders'. One might be interested in the underside of the game testing field. Others might just want to know what they can gain from a guide that is written to help people understand their role in the gaming industry. Others still are just pining for that ultimate career working alongside game developers and designers.

Whatever the reason, T Dub Sanders has put together one of the biggest and best game testing guides on the market – one that shows the underpinnings of the career in their raw, real format. There are no false promises of automatic testing or sitting at home and playing the newest games for hundreds of dollars a day.

That stuff is all pretty much a pipe dream and most people know it – yet many guide writers try to tell everyone that they can become the biggest and best new game testers in a field that doesn't really exist every day and too many fall for it. On the other hand, what T Dub has put together is a much more realistic, much more comprehensive look at what game testing is really about – the hard work and dedication that goes into becoming someone in charge of all that code each day.

By showing what it really takes to be a game tester, T Dub opens up an actual, realistic path to getting into the industry. He showcases skills needed to get started as a tester, the classes or college majors that people better be willing to invest in if they want to be a professional in this field and much more to help them figure out not only if the career path is right for them but if they are going to be cut out for it. That means a great deal for someone who may or may not know exactly what a game tester does and how it operates.

For anyone that is thinking about taking the path toward becoming a game tester, one of the first things that needs to be done is to learn more about what the career entails. Those people should pick up T Dub's newest guide and get a real insider's look at the job and how it really works. If you're serious about doing what T Dub shows you, you'll be on the fast track toward game testing in no time flat.

Kingdom Hearts 358/2 days

Kingdom Hearts 358/2 days is a thrilling action role playing game developed by Square Enix as well as h.a.n.d and published by Square Enix. The game revolves around the life of Roxas, the main character, and explores the period of the first game of Kingdom Heart along with Kingdom Hearts 2. Nintendo DS is the platform from which the game is played. When launched in Japan it made sales of record value. Released in the US on September 29th, it is doing great here too.

This highly exiting game includes both single player mode and multiplayer mode. It follows a story mode focused on Disney World. The system controls the magic in this game, and certain spells cannot be used if corresponding panels are not equipped. Abilities and weapons are both equipped using panels. Multiple panels can be combined to form stronger abilities.

The multiplayer version is mission based and is separate from the single player story, including co-operative battles. 4 players are allowed to play as one of the fourteen embers of the Organization 13 with each member of the party possessing different weapons, skills and stats. This game, like the previous versions of the game progresses through a collection of various levels.

Roxas as the main character in the game has the ability to control Keyblade, a weapon used for vanquishing darkness. Axel, Roxas’s best friend plays a significant role in the game as well. Xion, a girl resembling Kairi, is also equipped with the ability to wield the Keyblade.

The Saboteur

The Saboteur is not just another action game cast during the second World War. The game is all set to create a sensational awe across the world with the games ‘realistic story, high end graphics and sound quality’. The game is developed by Pandemic Studios and published by Electronic Arts. The thrilling game which is cast on the background of World War 2 also known by many as the ‘war that reshaped the world’, is an absolute delight to play. Set to release on December 8 2009, it is counted among the top 3 most awaited games of the year. The game can be played on three platforms namely the PS3, Xbox 360 and the PC.

Set in the beautiful city of Paris, the player is entitled to explore the magnificent capital along with the countryside. Colors will be the major indicators in the game, and you are supposed to ensure that the town is colored (happy). You can accomplish this objective by weakening the German occupying forces.

The citizens of the district play a major role as they are characterized by the ‘Will to Fight’ Factor. The areas with high WTF are shown with bright vibrant colors as they are full of spirit in engaging the enemy. The areas with low WTF, are full of cowardly citizens and the French resistance is weak in those areas. It is beneficial to have as many areas of high WTF as civilians play a huge role in fighting off the German threat. WTF isn’t that funny that they used that in this game?

The player’s primary mission will involve taking revenge of highly ranked officers of the Nazi army. The hero of our story is a common soldier in the French Army, Sean Delvin. Sean is a common soldier, until one by one his friends are killed by the Nazi Army. Set to take revenge, Sean plans vengeance on a host of German army officials and is assisted by the British intelligence and the French Resistance in his mission.

The game includes some of the best visual and game features rarely seen before. Most of the area in the game resembles the actually city of Paris. The hero has to remain underground and fight against the Nazis. Sean can assassinate a German official using the techniques of disguise and stealth attack.

So get this game before your friends and be a true ‘hero of the world’.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

If you haven’t experienced this game what are you waiting for? I mean come on, where have you been? I know it’s not for everyone, but if you’re into killing then this one is for you!

Its earlier addictive online multi-player mode, game play of its single-player campaign, and the compelling narrative took the first person shooter class to a new and different level, an intense experience that itself gave enormous rise in expectation levels for the latest Modern Warfare 2.

The gaming engine in Modern Warfare 2007, with its detailed and comparatively smooth graphics, almost concerted our televisions into virtually realistic battlegrounds with the sound of weapons very much imaginable.

Almost five and quarter million game addicted people around the world rushed to buy the latest sequel on the day of release. They were eager and anxious to tackle the three elements: Spec Ops (player can complete it solo), 2 player challenge and Single player campaign, and the best of the lot, heralded multiplayer.

The narrative in single player mode starts up with almost a five year gap. Task Force 141, a counter-terrorist group, tries to defuse a Russian invasion of the US and fights a Russian terrorist ultranationalist organization. Locations in the game include Rio de Janeiro, Afghanistan, Washington DC and Siberia.

The most disturbing part of the game is the slaughter of the civilians. The terrorists gun down every civilian in their way.

Multi-player rocks again. And once again Prestige is an option. I know how much I hate doing Prestige but doesn’t it feel so good when you whip through it?

Brutal Legend

Brutal Legend, equipped with a powerful title is an action packed adventure, thrilling game that surpasses just about all games in graphics and visuals. Developed by Double Fine Productions and published by Electronic Arts, the thrilling game is both action and music based. Armed with this unique and rare combination, the game hit stores on October 13, 2009. It’s already attracting quite a following.

Playable on Xbox 360 ad PS3, the game was inspired from designer Tim Shafter’s past musical experiences. The main character of the game, Eddie Riggs, a roadie is accidentally transported to a world of dreams and fantasies. Eddie assumes the role of the ‘savior of the world’ and leads his men down the path of independence, against a whole range of supernatural lords and creature.

His main weapons include a battle axe, a Flying V guitar full of magical powers and a hot rod. A third person game, Brutal Legend uses open world environment much to the player’s delight. Eddie Riggs who finds himself in a fantasy world, acquires 3 tools used for either combat or transportation: a broad axe called ‘Separator’, his superpower equipped guitar called ‘Clementine’ and the hot rod called ‘Deuce’ a.k.a. ‘the druid claw’.

The players will come across upgrades to the tools in Eddie’s possession which will give them more moves and abilities. The tools can be deadly weapons, such as the ability of Clementine to launch enemies into the air, and the ability of the ‘Deuce’ to lure people into a trap. The Deuce radio is able to play real metal songs, and once collected, the players are free to add or delete any songs they choose.

Allies are critical in the game and each ally has a special co-operation with Eddie. The game also has a multiplayer mode which is team based including skirmish modes. Eddie can sprout wings and fly as well. So buy this fascinating action and music combo game.

Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games

Mario and Sonic at the Olympic winter games is a must play game for every lover of winter sports. Sports have the ability to add both joy and health to our life, a rare combination indeed! Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games is published by Nintendo for the Japanese market and by Sega for the American and European market.

The mega game is the official game of the Olympic Committee through their exclusive licensee of International Sports Multimedia. It was released on both the Wii and Nintendo DS on Oct 13th.

I haven’t played this one myself, but I can tell you that so far the feedback hasn’t been all that exciting. It’s ok but not great.

Needless to say fans of Mario and Sonia may feel differently than I do about this one.

Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games is based on the guidelines of Olympic winter games. Players will be able to choose a character either from a Sega or Nintendo version depending upon your country of location, and compete against rivals in various games. This game allows the player to control their character through a range of authentic events based on real winter Olympics. The playable characters from the previous versions have also been included. In addition some new characters like Donkey Kong and Metal Sonic have been added.

A ‘festive mode’ was introduced in the Wii version of the game where players work their way through entire Olympic events including the opening and the closing ceremonies. The multiplayer version of the game offers co-cooperative and competitive gameplay while the DS differs by using wireless capabilities. The DS is also equipped with ‘Adventure Tours’ wherein players can accept a variety of quests, and will even be able to challenge bosses.

If you’re a fan of Mario or Sonic then there is a good chance you’ll enjoy this game. So be sure to check it out.
