There are a lot of reasons why someone might want to check out a guide like T Dub Sanders'. One might be interested in the underside of the game testing field. Others might just want to know what they can gain from a guide that is written to help people understand their role in the gaming industry. Others still are just pining for that ultimate career working alongside game developers and designers.

Whatever the reason, T Dub Sanders has put together one of the biggest and best game testing guides on the market – one that shows the underpinnings of the career in their raw, real format. There are no false promises of automatic testing or sitting at home and playing the newest games for hundreds of dollars a day.

That stuff is all pretty much a pipe dream and most people know it – yet many guide writers try to tell everyone that they can become the biggest and best new game testers in a field that doesn't really exist every day and too many fall for it. On the other hand, what T Dub has put together is a much more realistic, much more comprehensive look at what game testing is really about – the hard work and dedication that goes into becoming someone in charge of all that code each day.

By showing what it really takes to be a game tester, T Dub opens up an actual, realistic path to getting into the industry. He showcases skills needed to get started as a tester, the classes or college majors that people better be willing to invest in if they want to be a professional in this field and much more to help them figure out not only if the career path is right for them but if they are going to be cut out for it. That means a great deal for someone who may or may not know exactly what a game tester does and how it operates.

For anyone that is thinking about taking the path toward becoming a game tester, one of the first things that needs to be done is to learn more about what the career entails. Those people should pick up T Dub's newest guide and get a real insider's look at the job and how it really works. If you're serious about doing what T Dub shows you, you'll be on the fast track toward game testing in no time flat.

During the Konami Pre-E3 Show today, Hideo Kojima announced that, as rumored, TV show 24 star Kiefer Sutherland will voice and provide facial motion capture for Naked Snake/Big Boss in the Metal Gear Solid V

"This time, with Metal Gear Solid V, the themes are a little different from previous games in the series. We're taking on some very heavy subjects such as race and revenge. This makes the tone much darker. As a result, I wanted Snake to have a more subdued performance - express through subtle movements and tone of voice, rather than words," explained Kojima.

"Furthermore, the game takes place in 1984 when Snake is 49 years old. Therefore, we needed someone who could genuinely convey both the facial and vocal qualities of a man in his late 40s. It's different from anything we've done before."

"So I asked a producer friend of mine in Hollywood, Avi Arad, for advice. He's the one who introduced me to Mr. Kiefer Sutherland. And I was like, "Why didn't I think of that? I felt he was the perfect fit in terms of age and performance. So, we made him an offer."

"So we were eating dinner in Japan, celebrating the 25th anniversary of Metal Gear Solid and we started talking about actors," recalled famous film producer Avi Arad. "And I said to him, "Why don't you go for Kiefer Sutherland?" Whenever I think of Snake, I think of a certain voice delivery and Kiefer has this fantastic, rich voice that maintains a level of mystery to it. Friend of mine used to be Snake, but Kiefer is a class by himself."

"It's an honor to play this character. This character has an unbelievable legacy, but there's a real personal quality to the character that I've connected to," said Sutherland. "I'm not a gamer and I even knew about this game. I was certainly keenly aware of the legacy of these games; the unbelievable success of these games."

Sutherland also explained his approach to playing the role of Snake. "I'm trying to isolate what does Snake want for the future? And how does the past weigh on him? There is a character's hope for the future. And that rams out what I determine as the human experience. It's what I've always loved about movies. It's not something I've experienced as a character in a video game before."

Kojima expressed his happiness with working with Sutherland. "Kiefer immediately understood what I was looking for. I was very moved by his commitment to the project." In previous Metal Gears, Snake's emotions were expressed in phrases like, "Kaz? Are you okay?" But this time, all he says is, "Kaz?" I wanted everything else to be expressed to the player through Snake's facial expression & vocal performance. Thanks to the top-notch acting, it's been a great success. I think it will turn out to be something truly special."
