The official Hotline Miami Twitter has said that the ultra-violent kill-‘em-up will ‘probably’ be hitting PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 3 next week.
Originally announced in February, the game supports Sony’s Cross-Buy initiative, meaning if you buy one version you’ll get the other one free of charge.
Hotline Miami plucks much of its influence from the culture of the 1980s, and takes place from a top down perspective. The game blends stealth, bloody violence and barmy storytelling and features and aesthetic and score that play homage to the glorious decade where mobile phones were the size of bricks and mullets were considered fashionable.
The PlayStation platform version of Hotline Miami is being worked on by Abstraction Games.
