PlayStation Blog reported yesterday that gamers in Europe can expect to see a full demo for the highly anticipated platformer Puppeteer "prior to launch." No details are given beyond that as to when we can expect to see the demo’s release, but we are promised that it will “offer a much deeper representation” of Puppeteer than the demo hitting Japan’s PlayStation Store this week.
The Japanese demo, Puppeteer’s "Rehearsal Edition," is an unconventional approach to a game preview. Instead of jumping into the game’s storyline, the player is put in with the characters, watching them rehearse and build the stage for setting of the game.
The European demo will follow more traditional expectations of game demos. PlayStation Blog also promises that a specific date for the demo’s release will be confirmed soon. There is no mention of a demo planned for North America.
Puppeteer is coming to the PlayStation 3 on September 10, 2013 with a price tag of $39.99. To see more on Puppeteer, check out the E3 trailer below and watch our E3 ViDiary to hear what US Managing Editor Kyle Prahl had to say after getting some hands-on time with the platformer.
