Deep Silver has unveiled the official boxart for Saints Row IV, and if you weren’t convinced the series was taking a more over-the-top direction with this latest instalment, then this artwork will certainly change your mind.

Saints Row IV is due out in August for PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360. The game once again pits players in the shoes of the notorious Third Street Saints, who following the events of the previous game has risen to the rank of President of the United States.

This time around however it’s not just rival gangs who you’ll have to battle, as Steelport finds itself under attack alien invaders. Yes, aliens.
