Warner Bros. has announced that Scorpion of Mortal Kombat fame will be the next character to join the ranks of Injustice: Gods Among Us.

The demonic ninja has received a new design for his DC Universe appearance, having been designed by the comic giant’s Jim Lee. Scorpion will retail for £3.99 on PlayStation Network and 400 Microsoft Points via Xbox LIVE Marketplace.

Scorpion first made his first appearance in the original Mortal Kombat, and has appeared in nearly every single major title to date, becoming one of the series’ most iconic combatants. Scorpion is best known for his signature spear attack and ‘toasty’ fatality.
