Lightning Returns is 70% complete, according to Famitsu

The latest issue of Famitsu magazine has revealed that development of Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy is 70 per cent complete.

The publication (via a reader posting the details on Twitter) also confirmed status updates for other Final Fantasy projects.

Final Fantasy X HD is 80 per cent complete, Final Fantasy X-2 HD is 65 per cent and Final Fantasy VIII PC is 80 per cent finished.

Final Fantasy Versus XIII as you might expect isn’t on the list, though considering we’ve become accustomed to hearing next to nothing on the game for the past few years, that shouldn’t come as a surprise.

Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy is due out later this year for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
