There are a lot of reasons why someone might want to check out a guide like T Dub Sanders'. One might be interested in the underside of the game testing field. Others might just want to know what they can gain from a guide that is written to help people understand their role in the gaming industry. Others still are just pining for that ultimate career working alongside game developers and designers.

Whatever the reason, T Dub Sanders has put together one of the biggest and best game testing guides on the market – one that shows the underpinnings of the career in their raw, real format. There are no false promises of automatic testing or sitting at home and playing the newest games for hundreds of dollars a day.

That stuff is all pretty much a pipe dream and most people know it – yet many guide writers try to tell everyone that they can become the biggest and best new game testers in a field that doesn't really exist every day and too many fall for it. On the other hand, what T Dub has put together is a much more realistic, much more comprehensive look at what game testing is really about – the hard work and dedication that goes into becoming someone in charge of all that code each day.

By showing what it really takes to be a game tester, T Dub opens up an actual, realistic path to getting into the industry. He showcases skills needed to get started as a tester, the classes or college majors that people better be willing to invest in if they want to be a professional in this field and much more to help them figure out not only if the career path is right for them but if they are going to be cut out for it. That means a great deal for someone who may or may not know exactly what a game tester does and how it operates.

For anyone that is thinking about taking the path toward becoming a game tester, one of the first things that needs to be done is to learn more about what the career entails. Those people should pick up T Dub's newest guide and get a real insider's look at the job and how it really works. If you're serious about doing what T Dub shows you, you'll be on the fast track toward game testing in no time flat.

Call of Duty fans, it's time to lace up those boots, cock those guns, and get back on the battlefield. A brand new Call of Duty map pack has been announced for Black Ops II, titled 'Vengeance"

The pack will include 4 maps, Cove, Detour, Rush, and Uplink, which is a reimagining of a fan favourite, Summit. And of course, there will be one zombie map, titled Buried. The new zombie map will introduce an improvement of the ray gun, which appears to shoot a three-round burst.

Vengeance will drop on July 2nd for Xbox 360 first, which means PlayStation users will probably be getting it around August 2nd, for the standard price of $14.99 or free if you bought a season pass.

PSU's E3 2013 Awards - The winners revealed

You are here: Home » Features » Electronic Entertainment Expo [E3... » PSU's E3 2013 Awards - The ...

Posted June 17th, 2013 at 09:41 EDT by Mike Harradence2 Comments

So, there we have it. E3 has wrapped for another year, leaving a line of floored jaws in its wake as Sony and Microsoft both flexed their next-generation muscles in the shape of the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

With both machines due out by the end of the year, platform holders inevitably had a slew of new titles to showcase, though not at the expense of current-generation hardware, which still have plenty of life in them.

Now that E3 is done and dusted, PSU.com were able to take a look back at the wealth of titles and pick the best of the bunch in each major genre category. If that wasn’t enough, we also managed to determine the game of the show – no small feat considering the amount of quality titles on offer.

With that said, we present to you the results of our E3 2013 Awards. Follow the links below to check them out.

Q1_Komodo (mainly inspired by the colour green). Q2_Antlion (predatory bug). Q3_Dragonfly (the white colour really stands out and makes it look more agile for some reason). Q4_Boomslang (its venom makes you bleed out your pores, nasty). Q5_Deathstalker (type of scorpion, perfect name for this ultimate tank).

Here are my suggestions, they have a buildin sense of power :) Q1=Dart Q2=Spear Q3=Bullet Q4=Shotgun Q5=TriMoon ^^ (Yes that last one is both a joke and real entry :P)

I preffer simple and clear when it comes to names hence: Q1: Light tank, Q2: Medium tank, Q3 heavy tank, Q4 super heavy tank and Q5 Specialist tank. It would be easy to reffer to the tanks with for example LT, MT, SHT.
February 18, 2013 | Christoffer Nilsson

Q3 tank should be called - Snow Panzer
