Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault will be released on PlayStation Vita via PlayStation Network on May 21, Insomniac Games has confirmed.
The dynamic duo’s latest outing will also come with a high-definition version of Deadlocked to boot.
In addition, Insomniac revealed that those of you who have Full Frontal Assault on disc will be able to download Deadlocked, plus the PS Vita version of FFA, to PlayStation 3. You can then transfer it to Sony’s new handheld by accessing the ‘Disc Benefits’ option.
FFA will also be receiving a new update soon, which brings with it a new competitive map in the form of A Crack In Time’s Molonoth Fields. Meanwhile, a PS3-exclusie game mode, 2v2 Full Frontal Assault mode, will also be released.
“The new game mode, 2v2 Full Frontal Assault mode, is something for our hardcore players. It eliminates the phases – so you can always capture nodes, build units, and attack the other team’s base. This results in a more dynamic, more strategic experience that will test players’ skills more than ever before. This new software update is available now,” said Insomniac.
Finally, fresh skins will be up for grabs on the in-game story for $1.99 each. This includes the Monsters pack, Foot Soldiers pack and Plushy pack.
