Earlier this month, Sega confirmed that Hatsune Miku Project Diva F, the latest entry in the Digital Diva's series, would be heading to North America and Europe this August. Now an official announcement trailer has been released featuring two popular songs, "Tell Your World" and "Odds & Ends."

A demo is now available on the PlayStation Network in both North America and Europe.

Hatsune Miku Project Diva is a hit rhythm game franchise that began in 2009 on the PlayStation Portable. Since then, games in the series have been released on the PS3, Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation Vita, and in arcades. Many titles in the series were bestsellers in Japan and became a mild PSP system seller there.

Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F brings the digital diva to American&European PS3s this August

After gauging interest with a social media campaign, Sega at last announced this morning that Hatsune Miku will make her debut onto Western consoles this August with her latest rhythm game Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F, both in physical PlayStation 3 copies and via digital download. A demo will be available to download on June 11th for the U.S. and June 12th for Europe!

Back in March, Sega published a banner on their Facebook banner & asked Miku fans to share & like the image to show their support for bringing Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F outside of Japan. In less than 3 days, that very banner received over 25,000 likes and 15,000 shares.

Project Diva F includes 38 unique songs, including popular hits such as Odds & Ends, Tell Your World, and Black?Rock Shooter. It's the most comprehensive entry in the rhythm game series, with over 90 different costumes and accessories and the ability to make custom videos. Everything in the Japanese version will be in the Western release thankfully.

“Your voices helped make this happen.” said Aaron Webber, Associate Brand Manager for the game. “Miku and SEGA fans, this is your moment. We’re thrilled to bring this title out for you, and we’re counting on your support. Tell Your World!”

The Last of Us digital copy lets you play as you download

Gamers will be able to play The Last of Us as it is downloaded from the PlayStation Store, developer Naughty Dog has confirmed to GameInformer.

Specifically, The Last of Us can be played after the download has hit the half-way mark, but that’s still a massive step-up from where we are today.

This feature was among one of the major selling points of the PlayStation 4 during its New York City reveal back in February. However, it is apparent now that Sony is already implementing it for PS3 games.

The Last of Us will be made available for download alongside its physical counterpart on June 14.
